Julian Draxler to leave Wolfsburg at end of season

Agent Fabio Parisi announces that Julian Draxler recently held talks with both Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, with the winger certain to depart next summer.

Julian Draxler's agent has revealed that the winger will leave Wolfsburg at the end of the season after two years at the club.

The 23-year-old has only seen his stock rise since opting to join the Wolves in 2015 despite strong interest elsewhere, including from both Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain.

Draxler recently admitted that he has no intention of leaving Wolfsburg in the winter transfer window but he will be on his way next summer, with Turin his most likely destination following talks with manager Massimiliano Allegri.

"Max had spoken to Draxler, they were in sync and there was an immediate rapport between them," agent Fabio Parisi told Tuttosport. "Wolfsburg have strong owners, but unfortunately for the German fans, everyone wants to leave there.

"Over the summer Draxler was on the verge of joining Paris Saint-Germain, who had offered nearly €65m (£59m). He will definitely leave Wolfsburg at the end of the season.

"He would've gladly run to join Juve and is the ideal trequartista for Allegri. I repeat - Draxler will leave, but whether or not Juventus are interested again is another matter."

Arsenal were also linked with Germany international Draxler during the summer, but were reportedly put off by his lofty price tag.
