Catalans Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous is fined £500 by the RFL for criticising an official.

Catalans Dragons coach Laurent Frayssinous has been fined £500 for criticising an official following his side's draw with Huddersfield Giants.

The Rugby Football League have punished Frayssinous for hitting out at referee Ben Thaler after the match on May 31.

The 38-year-old has also been warned as to his future conduct after being found guilty of improper conduct and in breach of the RFL's Respect Policy.

Catalans Dragons continue their Super League campaign on June 13 when they host Hull FC.
