Novak Djokovic has started the defence of his Australian Open title with a comfortable win over Chung Hyeon.
The world number one broke serve on five occasions on his way to a 6-3 6-2 6-4 victory over the South Korean, who is ranked at 52nd in the ATP standings.
Roger Federer also enjoyed a routine opener in Melbourne as he easily got the better of Nikoloz Basilashvili.
The four-time champion did not have to get out of second gear as he dismantled his opponent in just 72 minutes, eventually prevailing by a 6-2 6-1 6-2 scoreline.
In the last 64, Djokovic will play France's Quentin Halys, while Federer faces a potentially tricky match with Alexandr Dolgopolov.
