South Korean organisers of the 2018 Winter Olympics have revealed that there have so far been no talks with North Korea about forming a joint team for the Games.
The event will take place in Pyeongchang, which is located in northeast South Korea, near the demilitarised zone that separates the two nations.
Organising chief Kim Jin-sun told reporters that "there have been no official discussions" with the North on forming a joint team.
However, he added that representatives will continue to explore some "joint programs" that would be contingent on "the improvement of overall inter-Korean relations."
