Snowboarder Katie Summerhayes is hopeful that she can repeat the success of her Great Britain teammate Jenny Jones.
Summerhayes, who picked up a silver medal at the recent World Cup in Gstaad, gets her campaign underway at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park tomorrow.
The 18-year-old says she is excited to get going at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, although she is a little nervous after undergoing three knee operations in the past two years.
"I was so stoked just to see Jenny doing it and fulfilling her dream," Summerhayes told BBC Sport. "She is definitely an inspiration for me.
"Everything she has done, with the three X Games medals and now the Olympics bronze, it is just amazing. I have always looked up to her and that's my goal, to repeat what Jenny did.
"I was out from April until December and it was really hard, but just knowing about the Winter Olympics and having this goal to work for was really helpful and I knew what I wanted to do as soon as I got back on skis. I am feeling a little bit nervous but I am really excited and I just want to get it over and done with."
The medal hopeful finished fourth at last year's World Championships, although injuries have restricted her to minimal time on the snow this season.
