Former Texas A&M Aggies wide receiver Mike Evans has compared his game to that of Chicago Bears player Brandon Marshall, rather than Vincent Jackson of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whom he is often likened to.
Evans said that Marshall's physical ability after making the catch is exactly the way that he wants to play the game, so would continue to follow in the Bears player's footsteps.
"I get a lot of Vincent Jackson comparisons, and that's a great comparison," NFL.com quotes Evans as saying.
"But I think Brandon Marshall. He's vicious after the catch. A big, physical guy, can go up and get it, blocks real well. So I've modelled my game after him since high school."
Marshall received 100 times last season for 1,295 yards.
