Doc Rivers slams DeAndre Jordan All-Star snub

Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers believes that it is a "travesty" that center DeAndre Jordan was snubbed for the NBA All-Star Game.

Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers has slammed the decision to snub center DeAndre Jordan from the NBA All-Star Game 2015.

Jordan had a game-high 24 points and 20 rebounds in the Clippers' win over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday, and it was the third time in the last six games where he has recorded at least 20 points and 20 rebounds.

"I think DJ should be on the All-Star team. I think it's a travesty. I really do. Dirk deserves to be on the All-Star team every year as far as I'm concerned, so you can never have anything against him," Rivers said, ESPN reports.

"He's been a great player throughout his career, I just think that a guy who is getting 27 [rebounds] and 22 [points vs. Dallas on Monday] and 20s and 20s [should] be on the team."

Jordan is leading the league in rebounds with 13.8 per game as well as in field goal percentage (.725) and is second in blocks per game with 2.35.
