Patrick Dorgu's switch to Manchester United has allegedly been delayed, with the Denmark international now not expected to travel to England until Saturday, when he will undergo a medical with the Red Devils.
A verbal agreement has allegedly been reached over a deal worth €30m (£25.1m) plus €5m (£4.2m) in add-ons, with Lecce reluctantly agreeing to let the 20-year-old leave in the latter stages of the January transfer window.
Initially, it had been thought that Dorgu would head to Manchester on Wednesday before undergoing a medical on Thursday, with the defender potentially being in line to make his debut against Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
However, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the deal has been delayed, with Dorgu now expected to head to Manchester on Saturday to officially begin his time at Old Trafford.
Romano insists that there are "no issues or problems", but certain documents have held up the transfer.

Dorgu 'set to complete Man United move on Saturday'
Dorgu has made 23 appearances for Lecce during the 2024-25 campaign, scoring three times and registering one assist, with his final appearance for the club set to be last weekend's 4-0 loss to Inter Milan in Serie A.
The Dane will leave Lecce having made 57 appearances, scoring five times and registering two assists, while he has found the back of the net once in four appearances for Denmark.
Dorgu is set to become Ruben Amorim's first signing since arriving as head coach of the Red Devils, and he will seemingly battle fit-again Luke Shaw for the left-sided wing-back role at Old Trafford.

When could Dorgu make his debut for Man United?
Providing that there are no issues, Dorgu's move to Man United should be completed by Sunday, but there is no chance of him being involved against Palace in the Premier League this weekend.
Instead, Dorgu could have a full week of training alongside his new teammates before debuting for the 20-time English champions against Leicester City in the fourth round of the FA Cup on February 7.
The Dane's first Premier League appearance could then come against Tottenham Hotspur in North London on February 16.
