The Los Angeles Lakers have edged past the Charlotte Bobcats 88-85 thanks to a season-high performance from returning forward Kobe Bryant.
Bryant led his side to their first win in four games, scoring 21 points for the visitors at the Time Warner Cable Arena.
The Lakers had to come from nine down in the second half, but were thankful for both the awareness of Bryant and the tenacity of Jordan Hill, who scored 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting, while also notching nine rebounds, four of which came on the offensive end.
Despite their win, the Lakers are still fourth in the Pacific Division.
