Kell Brook and Devon Alexander have agreed to fight on May 18 as the bout looks to go ahead at the third time of asking.
The original date between the two was cancelled due to an ankle injury suffered by Brook; the rearranged bout was also postponed when Alexander hurt his biceps.
However, the duo will now meet next month in Atlantic City for Alexander's IBF welterweight title.
"It's been a frustrating wait for the fight to be on, but now I'm ready to get in there on May 18 and bring that title home," said Brook.
Reports had suggested that Alexander was hoping to face Floyd Mayweather Jr before the meeting with Brook was confirmed.
