Abdul Hasan scored a remarkable century for Bangladesh to rescue their first innings on day one of their Test match against the West Indies.
The 20-year-old scored 100 off 108 balls while batting at number 10, the first player to do so on his debut for 110 years.
He managed a ninth-wicket stand of 172 with Mohammad Mahmudullah, which remained unbroken to steer Bangladesh to 365-8 at the close of play.
The home team were 193-8 after Fidel Edwards's five-wicket haul seemed to have put the West Indies in a comfortable position.
Hasan, who has only played six first-class matches, had other ideas, and along with Mahmudullah set about increasing Bangladesh's total.
