England record an eight-wicket victory over Bangladesh to make it two wins out of two at the T20 World Cup.

England have recorded their second successive win at the T20 World Cup by cruising to an eight-wicket victory over Bangladesh.

Eoin Morgan's side dominated from start to finish against West Indies on Saturday, and it was a similar story in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday afternoon.

Moeen Ali (2-18) set the ball rolling with the early dismissal of both openers, with Liam Livingstone (2-15) and Tymal Mills (3-27) taking over later in the innings.

With Bangladesh only making 124-9 from their 20 overs, a run-a-ball knock of 18 from Jos Buttler helped England to 39-1 off 4.5 overs, putting the team well ahead of the required run-rate.

However, it was Jason Roy who took centre stage throughout the innings, the opener bringing up his 50 in just 33 balls with his second six.

Roy added a third before eventually getting out for 61, but a composed 28 off 25 deliveries from Dawid Malan helped England reach their target with 35 balls to spare.

England are next in action when they take on Australia on Saturday afternoon.
