Two lower-order partnerships take West Indies to 232-8 at stumps on day two of the third Test, the home side now leading England by 28 runs.

West Indies have edged ahead in the third Test match with England, the home team rallying to reach stumps on day two on 232-8.

Replying to England's 204 all out, West Indies reached 50 without losing a wicket, but that quickly became 82-5 as many of England's bowlers got in on the action.

A mid-innings burst from Chris Woakes proved to be the difference maker at the time, the all-rounder removing the batsmen at four to six.

When West Indies were further reduced to 127-8, it appeared a near certainty that England would establish a first-innings advantage, but that changed when Joshua Da Silva came to the crease.

The wicket-keeper ending the day on an unbeaten 54 from 152 deliveries, initially supporting Kyle Mayers to 28 before working alongside Kemar Roach.

With Roach reaching 25 by the close of play, the pair had put on 55 for the ninth wicket, giving their side a 28-run lead ahead of attempting to seize full control on day three.
