The striker, who has a contract at the Amex until June 2029, has scored 17 goals and registered five assists in 80 appearances for his current side since debuting for the first team in 2021.

Villa 'agree loan deal' for PSG attacker Asensio

Meanwhile, Aston Villa have reportedly agreed to sign Paris Saint-Germain attacker Marco Asensio on loan for the second half of the season.

However, Villa are targeting more reinforcements in the final third of the field, with Jhon Duran and Emiliano Buendia both leaving, and according to The Athletic, a loan deal for Asensio has been secured.

There has been a host of speculation surrounding the 29-year-old's future of late, with PSG prepared to let him leave during the January market, and Villa now allegedly have a deal in place.

Juventus 'closing in' on deal for Newcastle's Kelly

Elsewhere, Juventus are allegedly closing in on a deal for Newcastle United defender Lloyd Kelly.

The 26-year-old made the move to Newcastle from Bournemouth last summer, and he has featured on 14 occasions for the Magpies during the 2024-25 campaign, including 10 outings in the Premier League.

However, there has been a host of speculation surrounding the defender's future of late, and according to Chronicle Live, a switch to Juventus is expected to occur before the end of the winter market.

The report claims that the Old Lady are willing to pay £15m for the centre-back, with a permanent deal likely to go through this summer after he initially joins the Italian team on loan.

Juventus are believed to be confident of securing his services before the end of the weekend, and it would free up space for Newcastle to potentially bring in a replacement before the end of the market.
