West Ham United have reportedly agreed a deal with Brighton & Hove Albion to loan Evan Ferguson.
The 20-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, with Brighton deciding that the striker is free to leave on loan during the January transfer window.
Everton and Bayer Leverkusen are among the clubs to be linked with the Republic of Ireland international, but according to Sky Sports News, West Ham have agreed to loan the forward for the second half of the 2024-25 campaign.
The report claims that Ferguson is due to travel to London on Sunday for a medical, as he prepares to reunite with now Hammers boss Graham Potter, who handed the youngster his debut at Brighton.
Ferguson has found it difficult to make his mark for Brighton this season, only managing one goal in 15 appearances in all competitions for the Seagulls.
The striker, who has a contract at the Amex until June 2029, has scored 17 goals and registered five assists in 80 appearances for his current side since debuting for the first team in 2021.

Villa 'agree loan deal' for PSG attacker Asensio
Meanwhile, Aston Villa have reportedly agreed to sign Paris Saint-Germain attacker Marco Asensio on loan for the second half of the season.
Unai Emery's side are close to confirming a deal for Marcus Rashford, with the Englishman set to arrive on loan from Manchester United.
However, Villa are targeting more reinforcements in the final third of the field, with Jhon Duran and Emiliano Buendia both leaving, and according to The Athletic, a loan deal for Asensio has been secured.
There has been a host of speculation surrounding the 29-year-old's future of late, with PSG prepared to let him leave during the January market, and Villa now allegedly have a deal in place.
The Spaniard, who was once regarded as one of the best young talents in world football, has scored twice and registered four assists in 16 appearances for his French club during the 2024-25 campaign.
At Real Madrid, Asensio scored 61 goals and registered 32 assists in 286 appearances, and he is now preparing to play in the Premier League for the first time in his career.

Juventus 'closing in' on deal for Newcastle's Kelly
Elsewhere, Juventus are allegedly closing in on a deal for Newcastle United defender Lloyd Kelly.
The 26-year-old made the move to Newcastle from Bournemouth last summer, and he has featured on 14 occasions for the Magpies during the 2024-25 campaign, including 10 outings in the Premier League.
However, there has been a host of speculation surrounding the defender's future of late, and according to Chronicle Live, a switch to Juventus is expected to occur before the end of the winter market.
The report claims that the Old Lady are willing to pay £15m for the centre-back, with a permanent deal likely to go through this summer after he initially joins the Italian team on loan.
Juventus are believed to be confident of securing his services before the end of the weekend, and it would free up space for Newcastle to potentially bring in a replacement before the end of the market.
