AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has labelled Mario Balotelli a "rotten apple" and says that he will not be signing him at the San Siro.
Milan's CEO Adriano Galliani also ruled out a move, saying that he was happy with the club's attacking options.
Berlusconi, however, has been more scathing about the Italian international.
"The name of Balotelli never came into my thoughts," Berlusconi told reporters.
"He is a rotten apple and could infect every group where he goes, even Milan."
The Milan supremo went on to ask for fans' patience as the club goes through a rebuilding phase.
Milan are currently seventh in Serie A and have been linked with a move for Pep Guardiola after Berlusconi refused to give Massimiliano Allegri his backing.
