Adriano Galliani thanks patient AC Milan fans

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani thanks the club's fans for their commitment following Wednesday's 2-0 win over Cagliari.

AC Milan CEO Adriano Galliani has thanked the club's fans for their patience following Wednesday's 2-0 win over Cagliari.

Stephan Al Shaarawy scored twice at the San Siro as the Rossoneri recorded only their second win of the campaign.

"I want to thank the fans for their support in what has been a terrible start to the season," Galliani told the club's website.

"I hope tonight's win will help the atmosphere. We definitely don't have a worse team than the team's we have lost against."

The victory has lifted Milan up to 11th in the Serie A table.
