Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists that he is happy at AC Milan, despite quotes last month suggesting that he was losing his passion for football.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he has no intention of quitting AC Milan anytime soon.

The Swedish striker was quoted in October as saying that he was losing his passion for football.

However, the 30-year-old has now claimed that his words were taken out of context.

"It's not true that I no longer have the desire to play. I was misunderstood," Ibrahimovic told Aftonbladet.

"I meant that after ten years [of football] you live differently compared to the past.

"I am fine at Milan and I have always felt good there."

Milan reached an agreement with Barcelona to take Ibrahimovic to the San Siro on a permanent basis during the summer.
