Filippo Inzaghi hails "perfect" AC Milan

Filippo Inzaghi says that AC Milan were "perfect" for the first hour of their 3-1 win against Lazio.

AC Milan manager Filippo Inzaghi has expressed his delight following his side's 3-1 win over Lazio.

Goals from Keisuke Honda, Sulley Muntari and Jeremy Menez ensured that the Rossoneri got their league campaign off to a winning start at the San Siro.

"These 50 days of training helped us to form a great group," he told Sky Sport Italia. "I had said we could lose against more talented opponents but not because they wanted it more than we did.

"It was a perfect game for the first hour, then we suffered a little, but that was only normal in the circumstances. The president [Silvio Berlusconi] was happy with the performance."

Milan will travel to Parma in their next Serie A match on September 14.
