Sinisa Mihajlovic: 'We need our best performance of the season'

AC Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic believes his side need to be at their very best to beat Lazio at the Stadio Olympico.

AC Milan manager Sinisa Mihajlovic has said his side need to put in their best performance of the season if they want to beat Lazio in Rome.

The Rossoneri are unbeaten in their last three games but Mihajlovic believes that Lazio are the favourites in Sunday's match.

Stefano Pioli's side have won all eight of their home games this season but the Milan manager feels that his side have enough within their ranks to prevail.

The 46-year-old said: "As I often say, there are 13 teams in the league against which we start as the favourites, then, there are another five or six teams where it's all to play for. One of these is Lazio.

"When you lose, it's never nice. But it's easier to accept a defeat against a side like Lazio than a team of a lower quality.

"To come away with a win, we need to give our best performance of the season. I have confidence in my players and we have the ability to beat Lazio."

Milan, who are ninth in the Serie A table, will take on Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico tomorrow.
