AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani denies Clarence Seedorf agreement

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani dismisses claims that he has lined up the club's former player Clarence Seedorf to replace Massimiliano Allegri in the summer.

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has insisted that he has not spoken to the club's former player Clarence Seedorf about the possibility of him taking over as manager next season.

Reports in Italy have claimed that 37-year-old Seedorf, who is currently playing for Brazilian side Botafogo, has agreed to replace the under-fire Massimiliano Allegri as Milan chief in the summer.

However, Galliani has stressed that discussions have not taken place with the Dutchman and indicated that the San Siro outfit are not thinking past the current campaign, in which they are currently 10th in the Serie A table.

"There is nothing, there are no talks," he told Lancenet. "Allegri is in charge and we are thinking only about the current season."

Seedorf spent a decade as a player at Milan and won two Serie A titles and two Champions League winners medals during his time with the club.
