Sunday's Serie A predictions including AC Milan vs. Napoli

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including AC Milan vs. Napoli.

Fiorentina vs. Frosinone (Sunday, 11.30am)

A tally of one point from four games has left Fiorentina trailing behind Serie A's top six, so they will aim to get back on track at home to Frosinone, in Sunday's early kickoff.

While the Viola have made a slow start to 2024, their visitors arrive at Stadio Franchi amid their own downturn in form.

We say: Fiorentina 2-1 Frosinone

With Roma and Juventus to come next for Frosinone, there seems no end in sight to their spiral down the standings - and Fiorentina can get off the mark for 2024 at their expense. Neither side has been able to keep the back door shut of late, so several goals could be shared at Stadio Franchi.

Bologna vs. Lecce (Sunday, 2.00pm)

After both orchestrating superb comebacks last weekend, Bologna and Lecce meet at Stadio Dall'Ara on Sunday afternoon.

While the Rossoblu fought back from behind to take sixth spot in Serie A, the Salentini gave their survival hopes a shot in the arm by stunning Fiorentina.

We say: Bologna 2-0 Lecce

Bologna are brilliant at home, while Lecce have been woeful away. Surely the hosts should secure back-to-back wins at the Salentini's expense, helping them keep pace with Italy's top four.

Monza vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Monza welcome struggling Hellas Verona to the U-Power Stadium on Sunday, keen to extend their unbeaten Serie A run against the Mastiffs.

The gameweek 24 encounter could see the home side secure back-to-back wins on their turf for the third time since gaining promotion to the big time last season, while the visitors hope to avoid slipping into the bottom three.

We say: Monza 1-1 Hellas Verona

Only Juventus, Fiorentina and Inter have defeated Palladino's team at home this season, signifying that Monza are expected to avoid a loss on Sunday, even if victory over Verona cannot be guaranteed despite the latter's awful road record.

Palladino's men have tended to draw games on their turf this season, and while they could nick a victory, erring on the side of caution seems the safer bet.

Genoa vs. Atalanta (Sunday, 5.00pm)

Four wins from five make Atalanta BC one of Serie A's hottest sides ahead of Sunday's trip to mid-table Genoa, which sees the teams meet at Stadio Luigi Ferraris.

While the Nerazzurri have found some goalscoring form to help them ascend the standings, their hosts last lost a game in December and are seeking a top-half finish.

We say: Genoa 1-1 Atalanta BC

Genoa have made Marassi a tough place to visit since gaining promotion, losing just twice in 11 league games at their Ligurian stronghold this season. Such resilience can bring Atalanta's winning run to an end, as both sides walk away with one point.

AC Milan vs. Napoli (Sunday, 7.45pm)

The last two Serie A champions lock horns on Sunday evening, as AC Milan welcome struggling Scudetto-holders Napoli to San Siro.

While Milan's fightback against Frosinone tightened their grip on third place in the standings, their visitors scraped past Hellas Verona thanks to a late moment of magic.

We say: AC Milan 1-0 Napoli

Though the teams are equal across their last 10 league meetings, with three wins apiece and four draws, Milan have held the upper hand over the past year and can expect to punish Napoli again. The reigning champions are still lacking cohesion, while their predecessors have recently clicked into gear.
