Sunday's Serie A predictions including Napoli vs. AC Milan

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including AC Milan vs. Napoli.

Genoa vs. Empoli (Sunday, 11.30am)

Genoa play host to Empoli on Sunday looking to record just their second league victory of the season as they bid to remain in Serie A.

While the home team are eight points adrift of safety, Empoli have recently dropped down to 13th position in the standings after a prolonged winless streak.

We say: Genoa 1-1 Empoli

All things considered, this is a game which Genoa need to win, and we expect them to go all out for three points. However, Empoli will be satisfied with a draw at this stage, and the visitors could do enough to earn a share of the spoils.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Bologna vs. Torino (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Bologna and Torino square off on Sunday afternoon with just one point separating the two clubs in the Serie A standings.

Sitting in 12th and 11th position respectively, these sides can afford to go all out for victory at the Renato Dall'Ara Stadium.

We say: Bologna 2-1 Torino

With neither team having shown much form of late, there may be a lack of quality on show. However, with a victory putting either club on the brink of realistically securing their Serie A status, we expect an entertaining game, one which could be won by the home side.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Fiorentina vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Separated by just two points and one place in the Serie A table, Fiorentina and Hellas Verona clash at Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday.

Two of Calcio's most entertaining sides convene in Florence with the hosts hoping to bounce back from successive defeats, while their visitors aim to surpass them in the standings by extending some fine recent form.

We say: Fiorentina 2-2 Hellas Verona

After a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture, the spoils are set to be shared once again on Sunday, as both sides have similar strengths and frailties - making for an intriguing match-up.

Fiorentina may have been less fluent in and around the penalty box since losing Vlahovic, but now feature enough talented forwards in their ranks to counteract attack-minded opposition.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Venezia vs. Sassuolo (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Mired in the relegation zone after last week's loss in the Veneto Derby, Venezia welcome Sassuolo to Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo on Sunday, sorely in need of three points to aid their fight against the drop.

While the hosts are occupied with avoiding an immediate return to Serie B, their visitors have moved into the top half of the Serie A standings following an upturn in form.

We say: Venezia 1-2 Sassuolo

Only Salernitana and Cagliari have registered fewer clean sheets than Venezia and Sassuolo (both three) in Serie A this season, so a goalless draw is certainly not on the cards at the Penzo.

Despite shifting shape and personnel, the home side have failed to find a method which keeps the back door shut and are far less prolific at the other end. In addition to their modest home record to date, that all adds up to a loss for the Lagunari.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Juventus vs. Spezia (Sunday, 5.00pm)

After a successful week in both league and cup, Juventus seek to continue their improbable Scudetto charge as they host struggling Spezia on Sunday.

Since their win over Empoli last weekend - followed by a fortuitous Coppa Italia win on Wednesday - Juve are seven points from the Serie A summit. Meanwhile, their visitors have lost three games on the spin - halting their ascent of the table in early 2022.

We say: Juventus 2-0 Spezia

Though it took a fightback from behind to win 3-2 in September's reverse fixture, Juventus should have no such problems on Sunday, as they approach this encounter in far better form.

Even accounting for a series of absences in the home side's squad, only Venezia have faced more shots on target than Spezia in Serie A this season, while city rivals Torino are the only team to have conceded fewer than Juve - indicating the probable outcome of this match.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Napoli vs. AC Milan (Sunday, 7.45pm)

Napoli's Lorenzo Insigne celebrates scoring their first goal on February 27, 2022© Reuters

With the leadership of Serie A at stake, Napoli welcome AC Milan to Stadio Maradona on Sunday evening, and either side would go top with a win.

Locked together on 57 points, the Azzurri started the season with eight successive wins, while their Rossonero counterparts began in similar style. Since then, the pair have experienced several shifts of momentum, but they convene in Naples with the Scudetto still very much up for grabs.

We say: Napoli 1-0 AC Milan

At least three goals have been scored in each of the last five Serie A matches between these teams in Naples (22 in total; more than four on average), but this could well be a more cagey affair.

There was little to split the sides in the reverse fixture, so a single goal could decide the destiny of three precious points - leaving the losers playing catch-up in the title race.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.
