Nigel de Jong has reportedly agreed to sign a new contract with AC Milan.
The Netherlands international, who is due to become a free agent at the end of the month, has been linked with a move to Manchester United in recent weeks.
However, following conversations with new Milan head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic, the 30-year-old has decided to commit his future at San Siro, according to Corriere dello Sport.
It is believed that De Jong's fresh terms will expire in the summer of 2017.
The midfielder joined Milan from United's rivals Manchester City in August 2012 for £5m.
