Sevilla are ready to table a bid for AC Milan defender Adil Rami.
The Spanish club's sporting director Rodriguez Verdejo identified the Frenchman as a transfer target during a recent press conference.
"It won't be easy, firstly because he is at a big club like Milan, but also because he has a lot of options," he said.
Rami joined Sevilla from Valencia last year after falling out with Blanquinegros boss Miroslav Djukic.
Sevilla recently completed the signing of Danish midfielder Michael Krohn-Dehli from Celta Vigo.
