Adelaide United recorded a comfortable win against 10-man Western Sydney Wanderers, beating the league's strugglers 2-0 courtesy of two quick yellow cards for Nikolai Topor-Stanley in the first 15 minutes of the game.
Topor-Stanley picked up his first yellow for a late challenge on Marcelo Carrusca and received his second only two minutes later for a handball.

Carrusca opened the scoring for the home side on the half-hour mark, as he connected with a Sergio Cirio cross in the centre of the box.
Fabio Ferreira doubled the hosts' lead 10 minutes after half time, after a neat one-two put the attacker in the box to finish smartly on the 55th minute.
Wanderers only managed one shot on goal compared to United's 26, as they struggled to cope with the one-man disadvantage.
The win keeps the home side in touching distance of the top, whereas the defeat keeps Wanderers winless so far this season.
