Argentina have confirmed that Angel di Maria will undergo tests today to determine the extent of the injury that forced him off in their quarter-final against Belgium.
The midfielder came off in the first half of the 1-0 win after developing a thigh problem, with some reports suggesting that the injury will rule him out of the remainder of the tournament.
Argentina coach Alejandro Sabella told reporters: "Angel has a problem in his right thigh and [Sunday] he will have some tests and we will see. I hope that it won't be too [bad] in the case of Angel because Angel is vital to us."
Argentina will play the Netherlands in the semi-finals.
