The buildup to the summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Arsenal eye possible reinforcements.
The Gunners spent more than many expected during the summer - most notably their club-record purchase of Nicolas Pepe - but were more reserved in January as they focused on bolstering their defensive options.
Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings at the Emirates Stadium.
Thursday morning's Arsenal transfer talk news roundup:
Wout Weghorst refuses to rule out Arsenal move
Wolfsburg striker Wout Weghorst has admitted that he could be on the move this summer as Arsenal continue to be linked with his services.
The 27-year-old enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 campaign for his German club, scoring 20 times and providing five assists in 42 appearances in all competitions.
Arsenal are thought to be interested in bringing the Netherlands international to the Premier League ahead of next season, and Weghorst has refused to rule out a summer switch.
"Nobody has to be afraid (should the club's fans fear his exit). It is good for a club to get a lot of money again after investing in a player. I have ambitions and want to achieve the highest. In the past two years I have been able to show that I can run on the level and that there is more for me," Weghorst told Bild.
"We discussed that we should sit down if something exciting should come for me. But because of corona, we have a strange market.
"I get a lot of recognition in Wolfsburg, I play an important role in sport and in human terms. I feel good, my family too. For me, it is also important whether VfL will do everything in its power to win titles in the future. But I trust the sporting leadership."
Weghorst, who joined Bremen from Dutch outfit AZ in July 2018, netted 16 times in 32 appearances during the 2019-20 Bundesliga season.
Sevilla 'enquire over possible Hector Bellerin deal'
Sevilla have reportedly approached Arsenal to discuss a possible summer deal for Hector Bellerin.
The 25-year-old still has three years left to run on his contract at the Emirates Stadium, but it has been suggested that the defender could seek pastures new ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Juventus have all been credited with an interest in the right-back, who has only made 14 Premier League appearances during the current season.
However, according to The Express, Sevilla are also keen to bring him back to Spain as the La Liga club prepare for a possible return to the Champions League.
The report claims that the Spanish giants have 'made enquiries' as they look to determine whether Arsenal would be open to a sale in the upcoming transfer market.
Bellerin has made 201 appearances for the Gunners since debuting in 2013.
