Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny expects "tough" clash against Fenerbahce

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny believes that the Gunners will get a result against Fenerbahce in their Champions League qualifier, but expects a "tough" encounter.

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is confident that his side can snatch a victory over Fenerbahce in their Champions League qualifier tomorrow evening.

The Gunners head into the first leg on the back of a 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa on the opening day of the new Premier League season.

"It is not an easy draw, it is never easy to go to Turkey in front of a very enthusiastic crowd," Wojciech Szczesny told the club's official website.

"It will be very tough but we are a confident team and if you want to play in the Champions league we should be going to Fenerbahce and getting a win."

The Turkish outfit could be booted out of the competition regardless of the result when the Court of Arbitration rules on whether their European ban is upheld following an appeal.
