Sports Mole previews the Champions League Group B clash between Arsenal and Schalke at the Emirates.

Arsenal welcome Schalke 04 to the Emirates on Wednesday looking to extend their 45-match unbeaten run at home against non-English opposition.

The Gunners currently top Group B following wins over Montpellier and Schalke, while Schalke sit second after picking up four points from their first two matches.

Arsene Wenger's side have not lost a home fixture to non-English opposition since losing to Inter Milan in 2003. Schalke, meanwhile, have only won one of their last eight European games against English opposition.

Arsenal will be without Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Bacary Sagna, Theo Walcott and Abou Diaby for the clash. The match has also come too soon for Kieran Gibbs.

Schalke will be without Julian Draxler and Kyriakos Papadopulous, while Christoph Metzelder is also a doubt with a knee problem.

Recent form:

Arsenal: WLWWL
Schalke: WDDWW

Possible lineups:

Arsenal: Mannone; Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Vermaelen, Santos; Arteta, Ramsey; Gervinho, Cazorla, Podolski; Giroud

Schalke: Unnerstall; Uchida, Howedes, Matip, Fuchs; Neustadter, Hoger, Farfan, Holtby, Afellay; Huntelaar

Sports Mole says: 2-2
