Arsene Wenger: 'Olivier Giroud suffering with toe injury'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says that striker Olivier Giroud could miss the Premier League fixture with Hull City due to a toe injury.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that Olivier Giroud picked up a toe injury in the Champions League fixture against Paris Saint-Germain.

Giroud was sent off in added-on time as the Gunners drew 1-1 in the Parc des Princes but Wenger has said that he could be absent from the clash with Hull City after sustaining a toe problem during the closing stages of the game in France.

Wenger told reporters: "Giroud had a knock on Tuesday night and I have to see if he's alright.

"It's his big toe. He has been a bit behind fitness-wise. He's slowly getting there."

Giroud is yet to start a game for Arsenal this season after representing France at Euro 2016.
