AC Milan eye Unai Emery as next manager?

AC Milan are reportedly interested in appointing Unai Emery as their next manager.

Despite Stefano Piolo steadying the ship since his arrival earlier this season, it has been well documented that club officials are looking at alternatives.

At one stage, it appeared that Ralf Rangnick would leave his role as head of sport at Red Bull to move to San Siro but he then withdrew himself from the running.

According to Sky Sports Italia, Emery has now emerged as the favourite to succeed Piolo in the dugout for the next campaign.

Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis was responsible for appointing the Spaniard as Arsenal boss in 2018, only to leave his position behind the scenes before Arsenal's dismal start to the season.
