Former Arsenal defender Tony Adams has urged the club to do everything possible to keep Arsene Wenger for the foreseeable future.
Despite nine frustrating years without a trophy, Adams believes that his former manager continues to deliver success in key areas as the Gunners prepare for Saturday's FA Cup final with Hull City.
"It's about time we won something. But Arsene's been unbelievable for the club," the 47-year-old told Sky Sports News. "They've had a good run in the Champions League and they've done well financially.
"The production of Arsenal players is second to none. They've been sacking managers left right and centre and it's great credit to Arsenal Football Club they've kept a man in place.
"He's worth his weight in gold. If I was the owner I'd very much keep him in position. If something's not broke then don't fix it."
Wenger is expected to sign a new deal with the club shortly after the FA Cup final.
