Arsene Wenger: 'I'm not retiring yet'

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says that he will not retire from football at the end of the season.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has said that he will not retire at the end of the season.

The 65-year-old has been in charge of the Gunners since 1996, but suggested that he would have no idea how to fill his time should he follow Sir Alex Ferguson into retirement.

"Sometimes I think, 'What is he [Sir Alex Ferguson] doing all day.' But he looks very happy in his retirement," Wenger is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.

"He is lucky because he is interested in horses as well. When he gets up in the morning, he can go to horses, practise or training.

"I love horses as well but I don't go to races. I like horses in general because I am a farmer. I rode them when I was a kid but now? No, my back could not take any riding."

Arsenal play Manchester United on Sunday, looking to retain third place in the Premier League table.
