Manchester City are reportedly set to include Rodri in their squad for the Champions League knockout phase.
The Citizens squeezed into the top 24 of the League Phase on the final matchday, beating Belgian outfit Club Brugge at the Etihad on Wednesday night.
It appeared as if Man City were heading towards an embarrassing exit from UEFA's elite club competition when Raphael Onyedika opened the scoring for the visitors in the first half.
However, Pep Guardiola's men made relatively light work of a second-half revival, with Mateo Kovacic and Savinho finding the net before the 80th minute.
Finishing 22nd in the 36-team rankings, the Premier League champions will face either Real Madrid or Bayern Munich in the two-legged playoff round next month.

Man City to include Rodri in Champions League squad?
According to The Sun, Man City are set to receive a significant boost to their hopes of winning only their second-ever European crown this season.
The report claims that the Citizens are preparing to include Rodri in their squad for the knockout phase of the Champions League, starting in February.
Suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury in the middle of September, the 2024 Ballon d'Or winner was expected to miss the remainder of the season.
However, it is understood that the Spaniard has made 'exceptional progress' during his rehabilitation and could now feature before the campaign's conclusion.
Rodri suffered the serious knee injury on 22 September, when Man City and Arsenal shared the spoils in the Premier League on the blue side of Manchester.

Marmoush, Khusanov to join Rodri in CL squad
Man City have spent a total of £128m bringing Omar Marmoush, Vitor Reis and Abdukodir Khusanov to the Etihad so far during the winter transfer window.
Due to their arrivals this month, the trio were unable to feature for the Citizens during their Champions League victory over Club Brugge on Wednesday.
However, all of Man City's winter signings are set to be named in the squad list for the knockout phase, as Guardiola chases down the fourth European crown of his managerial career.
