Emmanuel Frimpong backs Arsenal for success

Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong tells fans that the club will be winning trophies again "very soon".

Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has insisted that the club will be winning trophies again "very soon".

The Gunners' last triumph came eight years ago when they beat Manchester United to lift the FA Cup.

Despite anger from some fans over a lack of silverware at the Emirates Stadium, Frimpong is confident that the glory days will soon be returning.

"Fans should know and understand that we the players are also not happy when we don't win trophies but I can assure you that we always give 100% on the field to change that," the player told Goal.com.

"I want to assure all Arsenal fans that it will happen for us very soon."

Frimpong is currently on loan at Fulham until the end of the season.
