Fulham boss Martin Jol admits an interest in acquiring Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong on a permanent basis.

Fulham boss Martin Jol has revealed that he would be interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong on a permanent basis.

The 21-year-old was regarded as one of the brightest young prospects at the Gunners, but a host of serious knee injuries has stunted his progress.

He joined Fulham on loan in January, but Jol has claimed that the deal could be made permanent should the opportunity arise.

"If there is the opportunity to take him, I would probably do it," Jol told the Daily Express.

Frimpong has also been on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
