Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson will reportedly have to wait to get his England career underway due to a delay in paperwork.
The 20-year-old, who has an English father and a Finnish mother, trained with the Three Lions on Sunday but will be unable to get his senior cap for the national side due to complications with FIFA and the Football Association.
Despite playing for Finland's youth team, the defender is eligible to compete for both sides until he gets his first senior cap. However, the relevant paperwork, which processes Jenkinson's transfer from Finland's youth team to England's senior squad, has not been carried out by the FA, according to reports.
Jenkinson may have to wait a month until he can be considered for England.
