No injury worries for Arsenal's Olivier Giroud

Olivier Giroud tells Arsenal fans that his knee is fine despite being taken off in stoppage time in today's 3-1 win over Sunderland.

Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud has reassured fans that he was only taken off as a precaution during this afternoon's 3-1 win over Sunderland in the Premier League.

The Frenchman was withdrawn for Chuba Akpom in stoppage time after landing awkwardly, but reveals that there will be no long-term effects.

"My knee is ok don't worry! Thanks for your support!" he posted on Twitter.

Giroud took his goal tally to four by notching the opener at the Stadium of Light.
