Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed that he will speak to Jack Wilshere after the midfielder was photographed smoking a cigarette outside a nightclub last week.
The 22-year-old came under criticism from his manager 12 months ago following a similar incident, but insisted that it would not happen again.
Speaking after Arsenal's 2-0 victory over Boreham Wood, Wenger is quoted by the London Evening Standard as saying: "I haven't spoken to him so it's very difficult for me to make any statement.
"I know what you can make of pictures - I have to speak to him really to see what happened before I come out publicly. I'm not deeply concerned by it. I just want to know what happened and before I know what happened, I don't want to talk too much about it."
Wilshere has made 86 appearances for the Gunners since making his debut in 2008.
