Arsene Wenger has conceded that he is concerned by the number of players that have left Arsenal in recent summers.
The likes of Robin van Persie, Cesc Fabregas, Samir Nasri and Alex Song have all departed the Emirates Stadium to restart their careers with other European clubs.
With that in mind, Wenger has expressed his disappointment to have lost so many players of such high quality.
"My regret is that we already had a great team two or three years ago which could compete on four fronts," Wenger is quoted is saying by ESPN.
"We have lost recent players earlier in their careers. To lose Van Persie, Fabregas, Nasri and Song in just two years, it is a massive amount of potential [and] of course you worry."
The Gunners are currently seventh in the Premier League table.
