Sunday's Premier League predictions including Arsenal vs. Leicester

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Arsenal vs. Leicester.

Chelsea vs. Newcastle (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Chelsea will be looking to make it five Premier League victories in a row when they welcome an in-form Newcastle United to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues will enter the contest off the back of a 3-1 win over Norwich City on Thursday, while Newcastle continued their excellent form on the same night with a 2-1 success at Southampton.

We say: Chelsea 2-1 Newcastle United

This will be a real test of Newcastle's recent improvement, and it would not be a surprise to see the Magpies claim a positive result on Sunday afternoon. Chelsea's recent form has been impressive, though, and we believe that the superior quality in the home side's team will allow them to claim a huge three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Everton vs. Wolves (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Everton will be looking to bounce back from their five-goal loss at Tottenham Hotspur when they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to Goodison Park in the Premier League on Sunday.

The Toffees are currently 17th in the table, just one point clear of the relegation zone, while Wolves, who beat Watford 4-0 on Thursday, occupy eighth position, five points behind fourth-placed Arsenal.

We say: Everton 1-1 Wolverhampton Wanderers

Everton are in desperate need of all three points, but we are finding it really difficult to back the Toffees at the moment, particularly against a strong Wolves outfit. A draw would not be the worst result in the world for either side, and we can see the two teams sharing the spoils on Sunday afternoon.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Leeds vs. Norwich (Sunday, 2.00pm)

An enormous Premier League contest involving two struggling teams will take place at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon, as Leeds United welcome Norwich City.

Leeds are currently 16th in the table, just two points above 18th-placed Burnley, while Norwich sit rock bottom of the division, five points from the safety of 17th position entering the final straight.

We say: Leeds United 1-1 Norwich City

Both sides desperately need to win this match, and it is a huge affair towards the bottom of the table. A point does not suit either team, but we are struggling to back either with any serious confidence, ultimately settling on a 1-1 at Elland Road on Sunday afternoon.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Southampton vs. Watford (Sunday, 2.00pm)

Southampton play host to Watford on Sunday afternoon looking to bounce back from consecutive defeats in the Premier League.

While two losses in succession have left the Saints in 10th position in the standings, the Hornets are down in 19th place after also enduring two setbacks in a row.

We say: Southampton 2-1 Watford

While Watford are far from being at the point of no return, Hodgson will expect to see a much-improved performance in the search for maximum points. Nevertheless, we feel that the Saints will have too much quality in the final third, edging this contest by the odd goal in three.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

West Ham vs. Aston Villa (Sunday, 2.00pm)

West Ham United head into Sunday's Premier League fixture against Aston Villa having suffered three defeats in succession in all competitions.

While the Hammers are currently in sixth position in the standings, they only hold a nine-point lead over their next opponents, Villa having played one game fewer and winning three matches in a row.

We say: West Ham United 2-2 Aston Villa

Despite West Ham sitting higher in the table, there is an argument that Villa are the marginal favourites ahead of this contest. Nevertheless, West Ham have been playing well without converting their chances, and if everything comes together at the weekend, we can see an entertaining draw being played out in the capital.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Arsenal vs. Leicester (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Arsenal will aim to consolidate their hold on fourth spot in the Premier League table when Leicester City visit the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Mikel Arteta's side survived a scare to overcome Watford 3-2 last time out, while the Foxes arrive having claimed a 2-0 advantage in the first leg of their Europa Conference League last-16 tie with Rennes.

We say: Arsenal 3-1 Leicester City

Leicester could very well have conceded at least one or two to Leeds on another day, and a fatigued Foxes without Vardy facing his favourite opponent cannot expect much at the fortress that is the Emirates.

Smith Rowe's expected return will only add to Arsenal's cutting edge - not that they needed it against Watford - and Arteta's in-form crop should prevail with minimal difficulty.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.
