Transfer rumours: Reguilon to Sevilla, Leno to Fulham, Sidibe to West Ham

Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours as Sevilla aim to re-sign Tottenham Hotspur's Sergio Reguilon and Bernd Leno closes in on a move to Fulham.

Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer rumours as Sevilla aim to re-sign Tottenham Hotspur's Sergio Reguilon and Bernd Leno closes in on a move to Fulham.

Sergio Reguilon set for Sevilla return?

Sevilla are reportedly interested in re-signing Tottenham Hotspur left-back Sergio Reguilon this summer.

The 25-year-old has not travelled with the Spurs squad for their pre-season tour of South Korea and is seemingly not in Antonio Conte's plans for the 2022-23 season following the arrival of Ivan Perisic.

Reguilon's contract at Tottenham still has another three years left to run, but he is expected to be available for transfer for the right price this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Sevilla are showing an interest in bringing the Spain international back to his homeland after allowing Ludwig Augustinsson to leave for Aston Villa on loan.

Reguilon was previously loaned to Sevilla from Real Madrid for the 2019-20 season and helped Los Palanganas win the Europa League with victory over Inter Milan in the final.

Bernd Leno looking to seal Arsenal exit?

Another player who is expected to be on his way out of North London is Bernd Leno, who lost his spot as Arsenal number one to Aaron Ramsdale in the 2021-22 season.

The Gunners have bolstered their goalkeeping ranks with the signing of Matt Turner from New England Revolution, and Leno is now pining for a move elsewhere.

Fulham have been in talks over a move for the Germany international, and according to the Evening Standard, the Cottagers are increasingly confident of getting a deal done.

The report adds that Marco Silva's side will fork out £10m to sign Leno, who will sign a contract at Craven Cottage until the summer of 2025.

Leno's Arsenal contract has just 12 months left to run, and he only made four Premier League appearances under Mikel Arteta in the 2021-22 season.

Former Everton loanee Djibril Sidibe has now become a free agent after running down his contract with Monaco, and his next career move is shrouded in uncertainty.

The 29-year-old will be on the lookout for regular game time as he aims to force his way into Didier Deschamps's World Cup squad, and a return to the Premier League has been mooted.

According to Football Insider, West Ham United and Fulham are both keeping a close eye on developments after Sidibe rejected the chance to sign an extension with Monaco.

The France international is supposedly determined to secure a return to the Premier League, where he amassed four assists in 25 appearances during his loan spell at Goodison Park in 2019-20.

Sidibe won one Ligue 1 title with Monaco and racked up six goals and 23 assists in 173 games for Les Monegasques in all tournaments during a six-year spell.

Ben Brereton Diaz set for PL move?

Finally, speculation surrounding the future of Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz is hotting up, with the 23-year-old expected to head for the Premier League in the coming weeks.

Brereton Diaz has now entered the final 12 months of his contract with Blackburn, where he amassed 22 goals in 37 Championship games last term to finish joint-third in the Golden Boot race alongside Joel Piroe and Andreas Weimann.

Only Dominic Solanke (29) and Aleksandar Mitrovic (43) hit more Championship goals last term, and according to Football Insider, Leeds United are showing an interest in the Chile international.

The report adds that scouts from Elland Road were in attendance to watch Brereton Diaz play an hour of Blackburn's pre-season friendly with Accrington Stanley on Saturday.

Bournemouth are said to be keeping a close eye on developments surrounding the former England youth international as well, while clubs in La Liga are also in the race.
