Victor Anichebe hints at Arsenal move on Twitter

Former West Bromwich Albion striker Victor Anichebe jokes that he is travelling to Arsenal ahead of a deadline-day move to the Gunners.

Victor Anichebe has joked that he is travelling to Arsenal ahead of a deadline-day move to the Gunners.

The 28-year-old is currently available on a free transfer after leaving West Bromwich Albion in the summer.

The Nigerian international has taken to Twitter to suggest that he is travelling to Arsenal to join the London club, although it is thought that the forward is poking fun at Peter Odemwingie's famous arrival at Queens Park Rangers' training ground in January 2013.

Anichebe failed to score in 14 appearances for West Brom during the 2015-16 campaign.
