Arsenal fear that they could be priced out of a summer move for Real Madrid's Martin Odegaard, according to a report.

Arsenal are reportedly fearful that they could be priced out of a move for Martin Odegaard during this summer's transfer window.

The 22-year-old has been in impressive form for the Gunners since joining on loan from Real Madrid in January, and the North London club are believed to want to sign him on a permanent deal.

Los Blancos are said to be open to the idea of selling the Norway international as they look to raise funds to complete a deal for Borussia Dortmund's Erling Braut Haaland.

According to Football Insider, Madrid currently value Odegaard at £35m, but Arsenal are fearful that the asking price could move towards £50m if he continues to impress at the Emirates Stadium.

Chelsea and Liverpool are also both believed to be keeping an eye on the developments surrounding the attacker, who was signed by Madrid from Stromsgodset at the age of 16.

Odegaard - contracted to Zinedine Zidane's side until the summer of 2023 - has scored twice in 12 appearances for the Gunners since his arrival in January.
