Arsenal scout Brian McDermott keeping tabs on Lyon stars?

Arsenal scout Brian McDermott reportedly attended Lyon's Ligue 1 clash with Bordeaux to run the rule over three possible transfer targets.

Arsenal reportedly sent scout Brian McDermott to watch Lyon's final Ligue 1 home game against Bordeaux on Saturday evening.

According to M365, McDermott was present at the Stade de Gerland to run the rule over French international midfielder Nabil Fekir.

The 21-year-old has regularly been linked with a move to the Gunners and was even quoted as saying that it was a "pleasure" to know that they were interested.

However, Get French Football News claims that ex-Reading boss McDermott was also keeping an eye on Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette and defender Samuel Umtiti.

Any Arsenal attempts to lure Fekir and Lacazette away from Lyon might end in disappointment after president Jean Michel Aulas revealed that the club would not sell either player regardless of any bids.
