AC Milan defender Taye Taiwo has emerged as a target for Arsenal, according to Metro.
The 26-year-old Nigerian has made just six appearances for the Italian side this season and recently expressed his frustration at his lack of playing time.
"I am suffering every day because I don't get to play football. I joined this club in order to play, but I have made only six appearances so far," said Taiwo.
Arsenal currently have Andre Santos, Kieran Gibbs and Carl Jenkinson on the sidelines, leaving them short at left-back.
The defender is under contract with Milan until 2014, but is likely to leave the club on loan in January.
