Report: Arsenal make Edinson Cavani prime target after Karim Benzema setback

Arsenal reportedly turn their attentions to Edinson Cavani after Karim Benzema rules out a move away from Real Madrid.

Arsenal have reportedly made Edinson Cavani their prime target after Karim Benzema ruled out a move away from Real Madrid.

The 28-year-old has been linked with the Gunners in the past but it is unknown whether Paris Saint-Germain will be open to selling him.

Cavani, who has appeared for Uruguay 72 times, was also linked with a move to Manchester United earlier this month.

The striker signed for Paris Saint-Germain from Napoli last summer for a fee of £55m.
