Karim Benzema has all but ruled out a move to Arsenal by claiming that he is happy at Real Madrid.
The France international is said to have been tracked by Arsene Wenger, who sees the striker as being the ideal man to lead his side's title charge.
After being left out of Madrid's opening squad of the season on Sunday evening, speculation over the former Lyon man's future intensified, with one report suggesting that a £50m bid could be made by Arsenal.
Benzema has taken to Twitter to effectively rule out a switch, though, while also hitting out at the "clowns" who suggested that he was unhappy at the Bernabeu.
For all those clowns who want to make believe things at my fans. Here this is my home ! #HalaMadridYNadaMas pic.twitter.com/og6tMZKoft
