Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur 'send scouts to watch Issa Diop'

Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking closely at Issa Diop, while Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan also retain an interest in the Toulouse starlet.

Issa Diop is reportedly on the radar of North London rivals Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur after both sides sent scouts to watch the Toulouse defender up close.

Despite being aged just 21, Diop is already skipper of the Ligue 1 side and has regularly impressed since emerging through their youth ranks in 2015.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Arsenal and Spurs are two of a handful of sides casting admiring glances at the France Under-21s international, as Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan have also sent scouts along to Toulouse games of late.

Diop, who selected France over Senegal and Morocco at international level, has been used 21 times in Ligue 1 this season.

Toulouse were forced to release a statement last summer denying claims that they had agreed to sell Diop.
