Arsenal step up Josip Brekalo interest?

A report claims that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants a deal tied up for Dinamo Zagreb teenager Josip Brekalo at the end of the season.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly ready to move for Dinamo Zagreb teenager Josip Brekalo.

The 17-year-old, who came through the youth system at his current club, has made three league appearances this season.

A number of European clubs have been linked with the striker, but according to The People, Arsenal lead the race and Wenger wants a deal completed at the end of the current campaign.

It is understood that Wenger has sent scouts to monitor the teenager's performances in the UEFA Youth League, where he has scored three goals and provided one assist in five appearances.
